22/02/09 : Trenchant (126), Hebridian (126) and Saticon (128) turn in the best performances of the week at Kempton.

15/02/09 : Jumbo Rio (124) moves to the head of the Irish Juvenile Hurdlers with victory over Ebadiyan (123) at Leopardstown. Meanwhile, Ski Sunday (at 22/1) becomes our best priced winner (top 2 rated) since our launch.

14/02/09 : Ratings updated. Our ratings succesfully pinpointed todays Haydock winner Stow (121) at a price of 9/4

13/02/09 : Ronaldo Des Mottes (122) had Silk Affair (113) behind him earlier in the season at Folkestone. Both were winners yesterday at Sandown and whilst Silk Affairs race time was better, he has more limitations, although would be worth backing if reappearing in a handicap in the near future. Torphichen (119) also moves into the top 20 after winning the Juvenile Hurdle, although the race time was pretty average.

02/02/09 : Ratings updated. Mr Thriller (123) turned in a good performance to beat Stow at Fontwell on Sunday. Stow (121) ran some 10 or 11 lbs below his best form and should be given another chance.

01/02/09 : Ratings updated. Master of Arts (124) victory over Copper Blue looks to be a very decent effort and takes him to fifth in the current ratings. The winning time was not exceptional and that would be the only note of caution. Amore Mio (125) and Optimus Maximus (127) also leap to towards the top of the pack on the strength of their performance at Sandown in a time that looks very good.

25/01/09 : Alexander Severus (115) put in an improved effort to land the Maiden Hurdle at Leopardstown. This rating looks pretty reliable when comparing the times of the Maiden with that of the Irish Champion Hurdle later on the same card.

24/01/09 : Walkon (123) and Reve De Sivola (112) were well clear of the remainder in todays Grade 2 Juvenile Hurdle at Cheltenham. The race time, when compared to the final race at the meeting, seems to verify their existing ratings as being pretty accurate.

22/01/09 : Ratings Updated. Ready To Rocknroll (112), behind Lethal Weapon (121) at Leopardstown on Boxing Day franked that form on Thursday at Gowran Park.

18/01/09 : Juvenile Hurdle Handicap Ratings Updated.

Zaynar gained a provisional handicap rating of 133 in the Execution Ltd Juvenile Novice Hurdle at Ascot on Saturday but there are some question marks on just how good the form is. When compared to other good quality races on the same card, Zaynars winning time appears to be right up there.

However, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th in  Zaynar's race would all have to have stepped up quite significantly on previous efforts - it remains to be seen whether they did.

Starluck (134) and Zaynar (133) head our ratings and are presently amongst the favourites for the Triumph Hurdle

Our primary aim is to develop and provide the most accurate accurate ratings service for two age groups - Juvenile Hurdlers (National Hunt) and Two Year Olds (Flat)

Ratings are calculated using our own software and are based on a combination of race times and conventional handicapping methods using lines of form.

The ratings will be FREE although donations are welcomed.

We will also aim to provide extensive links to a variety of UK and International Horse Racing Sites.
